CNN's “American Morning”: Giuliani continued GOP attacks on Obama over terror, said he has “a pre-Sept. 11 mentality that he wants to return to.” Also criticized recent Gitmo decision, saying “We've been safe, so I don't know why we want to change….”
Obama adviser Rice said McCain's team is playing from “the Karl Rove playbook” and pursuing “a stupid and fundamentally failed policy.” Accused McCain of flip-flopping on trying Gitmo detainees.
