More on Dispute Over Clinton Ad

Clinton's ominous Texas TV spot starting Friday depicts sleeping children as a grim narrator invokes “a dangerous world.” Watch ad above, and read script here.

Obama blistered Clinton for national security ad: “We've seen these ads before. They're the kind that play on peoples' fears to scare up votes.” Read his full, sharp response here.

Clinton spokesman Wolfson responds to Obama on media call: "It is an absolute insult to the voters to suggest that a discussion of national security in this campaign constitutes fear-mongering."

Meanwhile: Obama camp re-releases ad featuring retired Gen. Tony McPeak vouching for the freshman Senator (to which Clinton camp highlights earlier comments by McPeak that prompted Obama camp apology).

McPeak on midday Obama media call: "The question is not, 'Can you wake up at 3 a.m. and answer the phone?' That's pretty easy. The question is, 'What do you do once you wake up?'"
