More on Biden Ad "Scranton"

Philadelphia, PA — The Obama-Biden campaign released today a new TV ad for Northeast Pennsylvania featuring Scranton native Sen. Joe Biden talking about his Pennsylvania upbringing. In the 30-spot, titled “Scranton”, Biden talks about growing up in Scranton and the lessons he learned in the Green Ridge neighborhood.

“Scranton's a place that never leaves you. It becomes part of your heart,” Biden says in the ad. “Barack Obama learned the same lesson while being raised by a single mom and his grandparents.”

Senator Biden will be visiting Scranton on Monday. Earlier in the day he will march in the Pittsburgh Labor Day Parade. More details about his trip to Scranton will be released soon.
