Clinton on CNN's "American Morning," Clinton wouldn't bash Penn when given the opportunity, said her campaign took the "appropriate action," isn't worried voters would be confused on her position on Colombia trade because she has been consistent. Also called out Obama for not canning Goolsbee after NAFTA flap.
Responded to Howard Dean's call for nominee to be decided by July 1 by asking whether he would resolve Florida and Michigan by then because it's too close a contest to have a nominee without counting those states. If those aren't resolved she said "then I think we are going to the convention."
On Iraq, said she doesn't think U.S. should continue to give Iraqis a "blank check" since they haven't made much political progress. Thinks withdrawal would should them the seriousness of their need to step up their efforts. Watch video above.
On MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Clinton talked extensively about Iraq, previewing Petraeus' testimony, saying he doesn't have a "convincing argument." Reiterated her positions on Iraq, said she thinks McCain is "dead wrong" with his policy, saying the failure of leadership is not being able to recognize the need to withdrawal. Also touched on role of oil in U.S.-Iraqi relations, Penn demotion.
On ABC's "Good Morning America," Clinton previewed Iraq hearings, said "clearly the surge hasn't worked." Elaborated on call to boycott Olympics opening saying it's an opportunity to influence Chinese leadership government to government. Doesn't think Penn's Colombia meeting hurt her credibility in Pennsylvania, or with superdelegates. Brought up Goolsbee-Obama situation.
On CBS' "Early Show," Clinton spent entire interview discussing Iraq positions, questioned success of surge in Iraq in past six months. Said continuing the "Bush-McCain policy is not a recipe for success." Explained call on Bush to boycott Olympics opening.
On "Fox & Friends" went after Obama when asked to respond to quotes from weekend fundraiser, downplaying his foreign policy experience, saying as far as she knows he's been on two trips. Talked extensively about Olympics, also discussed Iraq, being outspent in Pennsylvania.
Obama on NBC's "Today," discussed Petraeus' testimony, said most important issues is "how has this war made us safer?" Said he has been consistent in saying he would set a timetable, prudently bring troops home. Said the "height of irresponsibility" is going there in the first place, simply "moving the goal post" for withdrawal is distracting U.S. from al-Qaeda. Defended his criticism of McCain's comments keeping a presence in Iraq 100 years.
