Obama was asked at a stop at Longstreets Deli in Petersburg, Virginia if McCain has brought this current media frenzy upon himself. His answer:

McCain "has presented himself as an agent of change and it's clear that his economic policies don't represent change. And the attitude that he's been expressing over the last few days, that the economy is fundamentally sound, that you're not rich until you have $5 million, that's indicative of somebody who's out of touch with what people are struggling with, day in and day out."
