“I did not want to be considered for Vice President.”

ON A WOMAN BEING CONSIDERED:
“I do think a woman on the ticket could have been something very exciting…I want it to be a woman that has the right views, the same views that I do about the future of our country.”

ON BARACK OBAMA'S CHOICE:
“I think Barack Obama did go safe…I think here's where your going to see the differences are going to be very clear…they're going to be so different and Americans are going to have that choice and make that choice and I think its going to be a clear choice.”
