CBS News Release on Palin Interview

Katie Couric will conduct an exclusive interview with Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin tomorrow (24) as Palin meets with world leaders in New York City coinciding with the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.  The interview, focusing primarily on international affairs and the related news of the day, will be broadcast tomorrow night on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH KATIE COURIC (6:30-7:00 PM, ET).

Separately and as previously announced, CBS News and Couric will be traveling with Sen. John McCain and Palin on Sunday (2 8) and Monday (29) as they campaign in battleground states, and that extended interview will be broadcast on the CBS EVENING NEWS (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) on Monday (29) and Tuesday (30).
