Boehner Statement on Health Care

Below please a statement from House Republican Leader John Boehner after the President's remarks this afternoon on health care:

“The President this afternoon repeatedly stated that health care reform must lower costs for the American people.  Republicans agree.  But the actual bill put together by House Democrats does not do that.  According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, our official scorekeeper, it will not lower costs.  Let me repeat that: the bill will not lower costs.”
