What Hagel faces, via “Morning Joe”:

People who oppose his nomination on Capitol Hill, Bill Kristol and others, are very sophisticated about how modern confirmation politics work. They have a plan to beat him for confirmation, which will, at a minimum, inflict a lot of damage on Chuck Hagel and on the President. I think he’ll be confirmed but they’re going to — the White House — is going to have to be equally sophisticated about how they do this.
