What he’s gotta do:

Stylistically, Donnie is a great bellwether here of the fact that he has found a way to break through. I think he’s got two big challenges. One is having to get reelected if he’s going to be a national player. It’s not optional. He’s going to have to win reelection in a Democratic state. And the other thing is he’s going to have to perform in the state. He’s turned the state around in some ways but he still — the storm doesn’t help — they still have a lot to do on education, on some of the cities, on jobs. So, if he turns the state around economically, in particular, I think he’d be formidable.
