SCRIPT: Priorities USA Action and AFSCME Radio Ad, “47%”

ANNOUNCER: Even Republicans are criticizing Mitt Romney for his attacks on forty-seven percent of the American public. Listen to Romney’s own words.

MITT ROMNEY: There are forty-seven percent of the people… who believe that they are victims…so my job is not to worry about those people—I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.

ANNOUNCER: One hundred fifty million Americans: seniors, veterans, the disabled. Romney attacked them when he thought no one else was listening.

MITT ROMNEY: My job is not to worry about those people.

ANNOUNCER: Romney is a millionaire who uses loopholes to pay a lower tax rate than many nurses or police. Romney’s plan makes middle class families pay more – two thousand dollars a year – while giving multi-millionaires a tax cut of two hundred fifty thousand dollars. Mitt Romney’s just not looking out for us.
