Here’s Howard Dean and Ed Rendell on “CBS This Morning” seeming to pledge support for their chosen candidate.

ROSE: I don’t know whether this is his best speech, but he certainly he had more fun last night.

O’DONNELL: Yeah. Hillary Clinton, 2016, what do we think?

RENDELL: If she wants it, I think it’s hers.

DEAN: You’ll probably see two supporters right here.

ROSE: If she want it, the field just goes away?

RENDELL: Our field goes away.

O’DONNELL: Except for Joe Biden. Don’t count on Joe Biden.

[HESITANT NOISES FROM BOTH}

O'DONNELL: Wow, on the night that Joe Biden speaks...

ROSE: The Vice President of the United States.

O'DONNELL: I guess you guys aren't invited to the VIP party tonight.

DEAN: Not anymore.

O'DONNELL: Not anymore.

[LAUGHTER}

RENDELL: how about what —

DEAN: I didn't say anything. I kept my mouth shut.

O'DONNELL: Okay, you still get your invitation.

RENDELL: How about what Bill Clinton did for Joe Biden? I thought that was extraordinary too.

ROSE: Thank you both. Great to have you here.
