For Republicans to consider: what happens when Bill Clinton takes that show on the road to battleground states?
Given his swelled popularity (and after last night’s tour de force, I bet his approval rating ticks higher at least a bit), the Clinton Experience will be powerful. If he unleashes a shortened version of his talk in Des Moines, Madison, Tampa, Columbus, or Richmond, votes could move — both inspiring the base and swaying the swings.
And, I was kidding about “shortened,” of course. On the right evening, in the right mood, with the right crowd, I guarantee you 42 has a version in him that will make Wednesday night’s edition seem like an outline.
And just you wait to see the local media coverage the Clinton appearances draw.
