HALPERIN: “What would you be worried about in terms of the President trying to keep his job?”

GINGRICH: “…The greatest challenge in American politics and government today is that liberals lie better than conservatives tell the truth. And it is unbelievable. Let me give you an example of the double standard…. Joe Biden goes to a largely black audience and suggests that Republicans are going to put them back in chains. How many people in the elite media said he ought to be kicked off the ticket? How many people said it was totally reprehensible for a vice president of the United States to suggest that Republicans are for slavery? At what point do we have this double standard where no matter what the Obama-Biden ticket does, there’s always one more excuse.”
