- He knows why he’s running — and never forgets.
- He is not rattled by President Obama (too often).
- He and his wife are comfortable losing.
- He’s found a fine balance between micro-managing and delegating in his campaign.
- He is physically surrounded by people who love and respect him — and who he loves and respects. (That will be even more true when he gets to Tampa.)
All these things improve his chances of winning, but surely don’t guarantee it.
