My dissection on “Morning Joe”:

“And that poll is registered voters, an interesting choice for them to make at this point. A lot of organizations have moved to likely. In general, Gov. Romney has done better with likely voters than registered voters so being tied on registered is good for him and comes after a period, not just with Congressman Akin, but a lot of stuff where people thought Republicans were having a bad period. I’ll say again, as I’ve said before, the key number for me there: 46. If the President is at 46 going into the fall, it’s going to be difficult for him to get to 50. And I’m no math genius but he’s got to get to 50 to win, or close to it.”
