Finally, here’s the Obama campaign Medicare response TV ad:

Four interesting aspects of the spot jump out:

  1. It uses the AARP as a validator both for ObamaCare and against Romney-Ryan’s Medicare reform.
  2. It concedes that Ryan’s voucher program would only impact “future” retirees and actually says “could” rather than “would.” Those are interesting concessions.
  3. It isn’t spooky/scary negative in tone — even the picture of Romney and Ryan isn’t so bad!
  4. It plays defense along with offense, which will increase Boston’s confidence on the battle even more.

Stand by for the counterattack…
