While Republicans (still) fret that the Romney campaign isn’t fighting back hard enough, and Boston takes the semi-unusual step of calling the president a liar, the biggest event of Thursday just might be Charlie Rose’s interview with the Obamas.
Both sides are throwing a lot of logs on the fire, trying to beat the fabled Olympic news blackout. The Obama campaign keeps up its practice of quickly tweeting articles about Bain that just might have benefited from some over-the-transom assistance from Chicago. Boston is amping up its ad buys, putting Ed Gillespie out on TV, and having the candidate out for his second straight day of newsmaking (NAACP Wednesday, Cheney fundraiser with an open press component today).
And/but: just you wait for the Rose parley.
