Brian Williams: “It was the most important single effort of the Obama administration and, today, it became the most important Supreme Court decision in the past several years. The Supreme Court upheld the Obama health care law today. It wasn’t a surprise that the more liberal members voted to uphold. It was a surprise that the Chief Justice of the Court crossed over, and joined them, and cast, in effect, the deciding vote… Chief Justice Roberts gave the President the victory he wanted, though it was, of course, immediately enveloped in politics, with Republicans still vowing to kill it.”

Diane Sawyer: “This is a day for the history books. The U.S. Supreme Court has said the Obama health care law is constitutional, and therefore the law of the land. It is a huge victory for the President after three years of polarized debate.”
