The Obama campaign has righted itself a bit in the last few news cycles and some of the fundamentals are keeping the President in the game. His fundraising is bouncing back a bit, his Hispanic support remains strong, and his Friday speech in Orlando was one of his better rhetorical efforts of late.

Here are some other elements to watch for that will kick in at some points TBD:

  • An Obama battleground state bus tour
  • Obama and Biden campaigning together
  • Democrats putting out their list of convention speakers
  • Most of all: the Obamans putting up big paid media hitting Romney making the case he has no “core” (not Bain, not Massachusetts record)

If well executed, there could be some game changers in there.
