So, the news cycle is almost over and it has been one of the most predictable days yet in Obama-Romney. Democrats have spent Monday suggesting that Mitt Romney doesn’t care about the heroes who teach our children, fight dangerous fires, and keep us safe. Republicans have spent the day revisiting the President’s Friday remark that they say proves he is out of touch. The press remained obsessed with the notion that these gaffes “reveal” some truth about the candidates. In every sense of the word, no one won the day.
