In Saturday rallies in Columbus, OH and Richmond, VA, Obama reminds voters of his accomplishments in office and makes his case for four more years.

POTUS: “Together we are fighting our way back…. It will take sustained, persistent effort — yours and mine — for America to fully recover.”

Slams GOP foe: “Republicans in Congress have found a nominee who is willing to rubber stamp their agenda. We cannot give him that chance.”

First Lady, introducing her husband, retells her story and relates it to the President’s vision.

Michelle: “We’re here because of the values we believe in. We’re here because of the vision for this country that we all share.”

More FLOTUS: “When you’re making those impossible choices it all boils down to who you are and what you stand for. We all know who Barack Obama. We all know what our President stands for.”

There are a lot of variables that will go towards determining who wins in November. If candidate skills, spouse skills, a clear message, and emotion matter — and they do — some of the Democrats' biggest advantages were on display Saturday. Team Romney has some major catching up to do.
