In Friday afternoon press call, ex-NH topper says the Pennsylvanian’s language comments “doomed” his chances in Puerto Rico.
Sununu: “Santorum embarrassed himself so badly in Puerto Rico that it’s quite easy for Gov. Romney to be in Illinois these days…. When he started talking about the language issue in Puerto Rico, that really in my opinion doomed Santorum in Puerto Rico and makes it absolutely appropriate for the governor to be spending time in Illinois.”
