Newt Says Staying In “Net Advantage” for Santo

Gingrich Santorum

On Laura Ingraham’s radio program Thursday morning, Gingrich says his refusal to bow out benefits the Pennsylvanian:

“I think one of the reasons Romney has been much less effective since Santorum has emerged is he’s had to split his attacks. It’s very hard for him to attack both of us…. The minute Romney has only one opponent, his Super PAC will simply drown that opponent in mud. I mean, that’s what happened to me in both Iowa and Florida and it’ll eventually happen to Santorum. I think it’s actually to our net advantage to keep Romney divided.”
