Unemployment holds steady as employers add 227,000 jobs in February, exceeding expectations.

AP: “U.S. employers added 227,000 jobs in January to complete three of the best months of hiring since the recession began.”

Reuters: ” Employment grew solidly for a third straight month in February, a sign the economic recovery was broadening and in less need of further monetary stimulus from the Federal Reserve.”

Bloomberg: “Employers in the U.S. boosted payrolls more than forecast in February, indicating companies are growing more optimistic about the expansion.”
