In Thursday afternoon press call, Santo camp accuses Boston of using Romney surrogates on Michigan’s Credentials Committee to change the delegate rules.
Ohio AG Mike DeWine: “Changing the rules after the fact goes against all basic principles of elections…. It is dirty politics. It is dirty tricks…. The Romney campaign will do anything and they will say anything to get this nomination and they are very desperate.”
Senior adviser Brabender says the campaign to ask the RNC to intervene in the matter, likens the situation to something “that happen[s] maybe in Iran.”
