Bloomberg: “The number of Americans filing first-time claims for unemployment insurance payments last week held at a four-year low, more evidence the labor market is improving.”

Reuters: “New claims for unemployment benefits were unchanged last week, holding at the lowest level since the early days of the 2007-2009 recession and giving a fresh sign the battered labor market is healing.”

AP: “The number of people seeking unemployment aid was unchanged last week and the four-week average of applications fell to its lowest point in four years. The figures are the latest evidence that the job market is improving.”
