CBS News/New York Times poll finds President’s approval at 50%, the highest number since immediately after Osama bin Laden’s killing.

Survey also finds Obama’s economic numbers trending upward from previous poll:
— 34% of Americans say the economy is getting better, up from 28%.
— 35% of Americans say the country is on the right track, up from 29%.

Conducted Feb. 8 — 13, 2012. Margin of error 3 points.
