At a Las Vegas church Friday evening, Gingrich does rhetorical gymnastics to hit Romney for his “poor” comments and squishy spin-control.

Newt: “At least one of my opponents doesn’t seem to think he should be concerned about the poor, except after he got beaten up about it, he decided he really was concerned about the poor and didn’t mean to say he wasn’t concerned about the poor because if he’d said that it wouldn’t have been right, so, therefore he never really quite said it, even if he said it.”
