In Las Vegas press conference Saturday evening, Gingrich dispels dropout rumors.

Ex-Speaker: “I am a candidate for president of the United States. I will be a candidate for president of the United States. We will go to Tampa.”

Lumps rival Romney in with the President: “Why would America want two George Soros-approved candidates in a general election?”

Shifts between his usual litany of complaints about Romney’s tactics, contrast with Romney on issues, and political analysis about the race.

NY Times: “Newt Gingrich vowed again to stay in the Republican presidential contest until the convention in August and said he will spend the next several months engaged in a bitter battle with Mitt Romney.”

Politico: “Newt Gingrich, speaking to reporters at a Las Vegas press conference as tonight’s results came in, vowed to continue his campaign into the summer and blasted Romney as a “pro-gun control, pro-abortion, … George Soros-approved” candidate.”
