On CNN Friday, Texan tells Piers Morgan he may not agree with the frontrunner on economics and/but says his “poor” remarks have been overblown.
Paul: “I think this was a big issue because of politics, because of the opposition, the demagoging, the media jumping on this….I don’t believe for a minute that if Mitt Romney was sitting here, that if he released everything in his heart he says, ‘You know what? The truth is I really don’t care about poor people.’ I don’t believe that.”
