Gingrich Freddie Deal Excluded Lobbying

Newt’s contract with the mortgage giant specifically barred the Speaker from providing “lobbying services of any kind or engag[ing] in lobbying activities.”

Gingrich was expected to “contribute to Freddie Mac corporate planning and business goals” and to “meet with major stakeholders of Freddie Mac.”
