In Monday media availability at the Capitol, Speaker says he expects the House to vote to reject Senate version of the tax holiday extension.
Senate has no plans to return to Washington.
Cantor: "The President has said it would be 'inexcusable' to not extend the payroll tax cut for a year – and we agree. The goal of the House, the Senate, and the President is a full year extension of the payroll tax cut – so let’s achieve our goals."
Reid: "Their intransigence will mean that in ten days, 160 million middle class Americans will see a tax increase."
