With caveats that he hadn’t heard “Tonight Show” statements himself, Bay Stater tells media Saturday in Charleston that he doesn’t agree with characterizations of Bachmann and Santorum by the Texas Rep.

Romney: “The comments you’ve described are obviously not appropriate in a setting like this and I don’t think they accurately describe the views of either Michele Bachmann or Rick Santorum.”
