In Thursday interview with the Des Moines Register’s Obradovich, Gingrich says it’s win or go home in New Hampshire for Romney.

Ex-Speaker: “If he can’t carry New Hampshire the race is over, in terms of his candidacy.”

A calm, cheery Gingrich couches expectations and/but insists he does not regret running a positive campaign.

Newt: “I don’t know if at the end of the day, I will be the frontrunner in Iowa.”

Reinforces he’s “a very happy advocate of a dramatically better future” with “no interest in mud throwing.”

Gingrich: “Wading through the next few weeks is a really big challenge because I’m going to stay focused on solutions.”

Ex-Speaker on Bay State rival: “If he can’t carry New Hampshire the race is over, in terms of his candidacy.”

Georgian says he will use “a brand new campaign bus that arrives the day after Christmas” to travel the state.
