Halperin's Take
Obama was totally in command on this one: well-written, clear, from the heart, and politically savvy. And the First Lady's introduction was yet another high-profile reminder that her public performance and appeal are going to continue to be formidable forces. And/but it is a sad reminder of the hyper-partisan times in which we are living that the Twitters are filled with negative comments from leading Republicans about the speech, rather than anything positive about the troops or the mission — or, of course, the President.
