In joint presser Mon. with Iraqi PM Al-Maliki, Obama reaffirms he has "no doubt that Iraq can succeed," defends "taking all of our troops out of Iraq."

POTUS says US will maintain "strong diplomatic presence."

Adds, "I think history will judge the original decision to go into Iraq."

McCain responds to bilat with statement: "The meeting...today cannot obscure the fact that both men have failed in their responsibilities with regard to our shared security interests."
