Super Committee Standstill


As the time winds down, bipartisan panel at an impasse over $1.2 trillion from the deficit as Dems reject latest GOP proposal.

Clyburn: “If they maintain this then this is not going to happen.”

Boehner spox: “This was a balanced, bipartisan plan. The fact that it was rejected makes it clear that Washington Democrats won’t cut a dime in government spending without job-killing tax hikes.”
