As Super Committee deadline draws near, NY Times claims Cantor "has grown skittish...of a compromise with Democrats," has yet to review Toomey's deficit reduction proposal.

Cantor: "I’m not going to opine as to suggestions, hypotheticals, reports about workings in the committee. I want them to do their work. I think they are perfectly capable of doing it without added pressure from the outside."
