St. Pete Times reports Romney tells Tallahassee crowd he expects a Tea Party favorite to win Iowa before he takes New Hampshire and then locks up the nomination with Sunshine State win.
Halperin's Take
As strong as Romney is versus the field now, it would be an awfully big risk to assume a candidate would win Florida if he loses Iowa and South Carolina. Romney has been talking up this game plan for awhile but it remains a real roll of the dice. On the other hand, Iowa and South Carolina remain particular bad states for Romney.
