Perry’s Plan: Dismantle D.C.


In fiery speech to Bettendorf, IA crowd, TX Guv calls POTUS, Romney, those who want to “tinker with the status quo,” “completely detached,” says Washington needs more than “a new coast of paint.”

Perry: “This is the season for tearing down and rebuilding again, for uprooting the broken branches of government in Washington, and building a new government that is smaller and more humble, so America can be stronger and freer again.”

Proposed changes include:
— Criminalizing insider trading
— Cutting congressional pay in half
— Working too establish part-time “Citizen Congress”
— Requiring a 2/3 majority to pass any increase in taxes
