After Hawaii crowd greeted him with a standing ovation, POTUS tells campaign event goers re-election won’t be easy, compares current Washington climate to Kennedy era.

Obama: “President Kennedy used to say that after he took office that what surprised him most about Washington was that things were just as bad as he had been saying they were. I can relate.”

AND: Uses the GOP debates to take aim at his Republican opposition in Congress: “To their credit, they are not hiding.”
