GOP Reacts to Monthly Jobs Figures

Boehner: “Today’s report underscores the need for immediate action on the more than 15 bipartisan, common-sense House-passed jobs bills that are piled up at Senate Democrats’ door.”

Cantor: “Today’s jobs numbers show little improvement, and with high unemployment forecast in the year ahead, we must set aside our differences and focus on areas of common ground to create jobs.”

Camp: “Today’s disappointing job numbers are an indicator that our economy is still too weak and we’ve got a long way to go to get our economy back on track and families working again.”

Brown: “Jobs are not being created fast enough, and no one should be satisfied with a 9 percent unemployment rate.”

Crossroads GPS: “President Obama’s massive stimulus policies have failed to bring down unemployment, and his new ideas haven’t learned from past mistakes.”
