Fighting the Flip-Flop Charge

In interview with the Des Moines Register, Cain dismisses claim he changed positions on abortion.

Cain: "I am more focused on being clear about what I said and what I meant. Let the pundits say that I flip-flopped. Let the pundits say that I backpedaled. Remember, you have some fringe media people out there that are looking for any and everything to try and discredit us, slow us down. We know that. But the people aren’t listening to that stuff. They’ll listen to what I say, not what somebody else says that they think I meant."
