Perry support down, Cain’s up in new Wash Po/ABC News poll — including the maybes;

Romney 21
Cain 14
Perry 14
Christie 10
Palin 9
Paul 9
Gingrich 6
Bachmann 4
Santorum 1
Huntsman 1

Conducted Sept. 29 — Oct. 1, 2011. Margin of error 4 points.

Without them;

Romney 25
Cain 16
Perry 16
Paul 11
Bachman 7
Gingrich 7
Santorum 2
Huntsman 1

Neither Christie nor Palin would enter the race, obviously, in an overwhelming position, but they are both close enough to second (and first) that they could, with a strong start, become the frontrunner quite quickly. Romney does surprisingly well with voters' second choices.
