Romney Hits Perry Again on Soc Sec

On the radio with Sean Hannity says “Social Security is a good thing. We need Social Security,” and suggests Texas topper would be disastrous nominee.

Goes even further, says “If we nominate someone who the Democrats could correctly characterize as being opposed to Social Security, we would be obliterated.”


Perry’s camp fires back: “The everything will be fine comments by Mitt Romney show a lack of leadership in addressing issues important to Americans.”

Romney also touted broad solutions, including voluntary accounts, to save the program
