WSJ on the House headed for a "cliffhanger vote" Thurs. on Boehner's revised debt plan.
Halperin's Take
Whatever the outcome of the Thursday House vote (assuming it occurs), there are now three most-likely possible outcomes. (1) Democrats, wanting to avoid default, cave and accept the Boehner bill with mild modifications. (2) Cantor and Boehner shift and accept a bill that passes the House with a lot of Democratic votes replacing those of defecting hardline Republicans. Or: (3) default.
