Yesterday's statement was insufficient to end the controversy. Today's release has a better chance, but, unfortunately for Bachmann, this one has crossed a magic media Freak Show line, and the migraine matter is almost certainly going to stick with her as a question (from the press if not necessarily the public) for a good long while. If journos keep on it in a hectoring way, however, there could be a pro-Bachmann backlash in some quarters. Time for the NY Times Dr. L. K. Altman to strap on his quadrennial stethoscope.
