Father’s Day Fun

Obama and daughters visit ice cream shop Sunday.

Pool Report:

We now have a new in-town travel and photo pool lid.

Earlier, we had a brief lid-lift for a quick Father’s Day ice cream run to the Thomas Sweet Ice Cream and Chocolate store, 3214 P St. NW, in Georgetown.

Motorcade stopped at street lights to and fro; section of Wisconsin Avenue in front of store was blocked off, (though circulator buses were allowed through).

Travelers included: POTUS, Malia, Sasha, an unidentified niece and unidentified nephew. Departed WH at 7:25 p.m, left store at 7:51 p.m., back at 8:05 p.m.

No word about selections at the store.

Daughters and Michelle Obama depart tonight for South Africa.
