Gibbs: “Check the Tape”

MSNBC: “Check the tape and make sure this wasn’t a rerun of four or eight years ago…. If American people wanted to see these candidates propose the exact policies that got us into this financial mess to begin with, that’s what they saw on the stage tonight.”

Early Show: “Mitt Romney’s record on the economy when he was governor, Massachusetts ranked 47th out of 50 states in creating jobs. So, I can understand why these guys would want to attack somebody else. And not talk about their own records.”

CNN: “This Republican nomination is at its most unsettled that we’ve seen it in quite some time” and “I probably would” tell Rick Perry to run.

Fox & Friends: “I hope this doesn’t spoil things for her, but I think Michele Bachmann probably had a pretty good debate last night.”
